In this new partnership with WUSA 9, Easterns Automotive Group (Eastern Motors) has teamed up to give back an incredible organization by the name of Passion For Learning (P4L). Easterns is always looking for ways to give back to the DMV community that they have been a part of for so long.
P4L is a Montgomery County, Maryland based organization that helps students in low income communities develop the skills they will need for a 21st Century knowledge-based global economy and technology-rich society. Joel Bassam of Easterns Automotive Group presented a $1,500 check to the executive director of P4L, Cynthia Rubenstein. This generous donation will help one of their programs in particular. The GRRL Tech (Girls Really, Really, Love Technology) program helps young women with digital technology skills such as coding, website development, and video game design. P4L is always looking to find ways to aid in the empowerment of our future tech leaders. It doesn’t take much to make a real difference in the life of a child and the future of our community.
